





IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society has organised video competition across all universities in Malaysia. The competition was started in October 2017 and ended in Dec 2017. Overall, we received 8 group participation from various universities in Malaysia. The judging criteria includes the technical content (instrumentation and measurements), video quality, creativity, product demonstration and the impact to the society.
The competition was jointly organised by Institute of Engineering Technology (IET) and International Islamic University (IIUM).
The winners of the competition has been announced during the Annual Grand Meeting of IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society Malaysia Chapter, at The Everly Hotel, Putrajaya in January 2018.
On 16 March 2018, the prize giving ceremony was organised at Conference Room A, Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM. All winners and supervisors were invited to the ceremony. The winners’ video were shown to the audience and at the end of the ceremony, refreshments were served. This video competition has encourage students to present their ideas related to instrumentation and measurement in compact 3 minutes. All video participated in the competition have been presented in IEEE IMS Youtube channel so that many audiences especially young generations will get benefits from their ideas. On the other side, this Youtube channel will promote Science, Technology, Mathematics (STEM) to all young generations.
