The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Kulliyyah Of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) has organized a Final Year Project seminar presentation which scheduled on Wednesday, 19th of December 2018. The objectives of the seminar presentation are to bring research and design theory into practice among UG students, to support the implementation and assessment of the kulliyyah’s Programme outcomes of lifelong learning and communication, to meet and to treat FYP towards ‘research based’, as well as to expose students to present works in a conference setting.
The event took place at Auditorium B, Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM and attended by 28 Communications students and 32 Computer and Information Engineering students. There are 9 IEEE Members representatives from IEEE Society and about 22 lecturers (all are IEEE members) attended the event. Among the representatives who came to be the panel judge and to select the winner for their respective society and sponsored for the event is Mr. Mohammad Miqdad Bin Abdul Aziz from UniKL BMI representing IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement, with RM300 cash and merit certificate. The winner for Instrumentation, Control & Measurement track was by Muhammad Haziq Bin Norhisam with a project entitled Autonomous Surface Vessel for Search And Rescue (SAR) Operation, supervised by Assoc Prof Dr Hasmah Bt Mansor.
