IEEE IMS Malaysia Chapter participated for membership development drive at ROBOCON competition in Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) from 5th to 7th April 2019. One booth has been allocated for the society for membership drive. The goal of the drive is to promote IEEE membership among participants of ROBOCON 2019 that comprises of both students and faculty members. Moreover, the society also promotes 2019 activities such as 3 minute Capstone project presentation and International Conference on Smart Instrumentation, Measurement and Application 2019 (ICSIMA 2019).
The event has received positive responses from both students and faculty members. There has been several enquiry regarding IEEE membership registration. Many students also has shown interest in joining the 3 minute Capstone project presentation organized by IEEE IMS. Additionally, there has been many participants shown interest in submitting papers for ICSIMA 2019.
